The Stormglasses
Stormglass is an ancient meteorological tool which was used to forecast weather, mainly in England. It is a sealed glass vial containing a solution. Due to an influence of environmental changes, there is a growth of multiple crystal formations in it. In the 19th century, it was believed that the appearance, shape and size of these formations are the key to predicting weather.
Although the Stormglass has lost its original meaning, it still represents a unique and decorative physical curiosity from the times when the weather forecast was being born.
